hmmm ancestors are interesting...
I can slip to a place where I sense my great grandparents watching me... but normally I ignore them.... but this Samhain I felt the urge to call and acknowledge all of my ancestors, something I have never done... I also sent out a prayer for Pete at Samhain... even though I never got to know Pete well, I always really liked him... He really had a great attitude towards life, you could tell he had experience some or even many of lifes punches but he kept a great attitude, he showed an amazing ability to pick up the pieces, keep your head & heart high and keep on plugging...
your mom is definitely changed by the experience; I see that... I think if she didn't have you & the kids that she would have lost purpose at that point of Pete's departure.... but your mom also has a great attitude and seems to be holding her head up.... I quite like your mom ....
